Florence, Italy

  • Visit Dante’s church and learn more history about him! If you love history, it’s fascinating!

Tunisia

  • Tunisia is the northernmost country in Africa, bordering the Mediterranean sea.

  • There are no direct flights from the United States, so you will need to get a connecting flight. Brownell has flown through Paris, Florence, and Istanbul.

    • As a side note, Brownell mentioned that Turkish Airlines offers you two free nights in Istanbul if you have a layover there!

  • Brownell stayed in gorgeous resorts for a fraction of the cost of other countries. She stayed at Iberostar Waves Averroes and Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay.

  • Amazing food with French influence!

  • Brownell traveled here alone and felt very safe.

  • If you’re a Star Wars fan, you can visit sections of the Sahara where Tatooine was filmed.

Barcelona, Spain

  • Do not miss an opportunity to visit Barcelona!

  • This city is rich with history, culture, and unique architecture.

  • Be sure to see the Basílica de la Sagrada Família, it’s unreal! Brownell recommends visiting at sunset if you can for amazing lighting in the church.
